Common questions
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are handled by Apple. On your iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, choose Clear AI and tap Cancel Subscription. You can also get there from Settings inside the app with Manage subscription. Cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date to avoid being charged for the next period. If you're on a free trial, cancelling before it ends means you won't be charged.
How do I get a refund?
Apple handles all payments, so refunds are requested from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. Sign in, find Clear AI and choose "Request a refund".
I paid but the app still shows Premium as locked
Open Settings in the app and tap Restore Purchases. Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID you used to subscribe. If it still doesn't unlock, email me with the date of the purchase.
Why can I only scan every 5 days?
Skin changes over weeks, not days. Scanning every day mostly measures lighting and mood, not real change. Spacing scans evenly gives you a cleaner progress chart, and each scan is also the check-in that adjusts your routine.
The app said it couldn't read my scan
Face a window or a bright light, remove glasses, push hair off your forehead and keep your face inside the oval until it turns green. Then take the photo again.
My scores changed but my skin looks the same
Lighting, angle and distance affect every scan a little. Take your scans in the same place, at the same time of day, facing the same light. Look at the trend over several scans rather than one result.
How do I delete my data?
Your photos, scores, answers, routine and chat history are stored only on your iPhone. Deleting the app deletes all of it. Scan photos and chat messages aren't kept on our servers. See the privacy policy for details.
How does the chat work?
The chat answers questions about your skin, routine and products. It can see your routine, check-ins and scan scores, so answers are about you, but never your photos. You can send up to 30 messages a day. Chat history stays on your iPhone, and you can clear it with the bin icon. See the privacy policy for how messages are handled.
Is this medical advice?
No. Clear AI tracks your skin and builds routines from everyday products. It doesn't diagnose or treat medical conditions. If your acne is painful, cystic or leaving scars, please see a dermatologist.
